LCV Technician (Ambulance Fleet) - Swansea
Salary: £20 per hour
Hours:
6am - 6pm - 4 on 4 off shift pattern
Contract:
Permanent
Must have a recognised Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
OverviewWe are recruiting for an experienced LCV Technician to join a busy fleet workshop in Swansea, working primarily on Ambulances. This role offers a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, competitive hourly rate, and the opportunity to play a vital part in keeping emergency service vehicles on the road.
This is hands-on, workshop-based work where reliability, accuracy and quality are essential.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out servicing, maintenance and repair work on Ambulances and other fleet vans
- Complete inspections, diagnostics and defect rectification in line with standards
- Maintain accurate job records and ensure compliance with DVSA requirements
- Work as part of a skilled team in a high-paced environment
- Level 3 qualification (NVQ / City & Guilds / IMI) in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
- Previous experience working on vans or LCVs (Ambulance work an advantage but not essential)
- Strong diagnostic and repair skills with attention to detail
- Full UK driving licence
- £20 per hour with overtime available
- 4 on 4 off shift pattern for better work-life balance
