Job Details

Missisquoi Valley Union is searching for a High School Math Teacher for the  school year. The position is a full‑time, union professional role. Salary range is $51,750 to $92,250, based on experience and education.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the math department and a math data team. Design and deliver Common Core‑aligned math instruction for grades 7-12. Differentiate instruction and promote productive mathematical talk. Interpret and respond to data and demonstrate flexibility in rapidly changing situations. Provide curriculum design and pedagogical support from a data team partner and an instructional coach.

Qualifications
  • Valid Vermont teaching license, or an equivalent license from outside VT.
  • 3-5 years of relevant teaching experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, facilitation, communication, organizational, collaboration, and decision‑making skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Citizen or legal resident of the U.S. with work eligibility.
