About the Role:

The 3rd Shift VPT-Machine Operator for MTO Ring Gage plays a critical role in ensuring the precision manufacturing of ring gages during the overnight production cycle. This position is responsible for operating and monitoring specialized VPT machinery to produce high-quality MTO ring gages that meet stringent industry standards. The operator will work independently during the third shift, maintaining consistent production flow while adhering to safety protocols and quality control measures.

Attention to detail and the ability to troubleshoot machine issues promptly are essential to minimize downtime and maintain product integrity. Ultimately, this role contributes directly to the company’s commitment to delivering reliable measurement tools that support manufacturing accuracy across various industries.

Responsibilities:
  • Set up, operate, and monitor VPT machines specifically designed for manufacturing MTO ring gages during the third shift.
  • Perform routine inspections and quality checks on produced ring gages to ensure compliance with specifications and tolerances.
  • Maintain accurate production records and report any machine malfunctions or quality issues to the maintenance team promptly.
  • Adhere strictly to safety guidelines and standard operating procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize machine performance and production efficiency during the shift.
