Machine Operator (Medical Value Stream)

Company: VERMONT PRECISION TOOLS, INC.

Produce precision medical burr blanks using manual grinding, disk grinding, and CNC grinding equipment within the Medical Value Stream. Operate equipment, inspect output for tolerance compliance, maintain production levels, and support quality and safety standards.

• Setup, operate, and troubleshoot manual grinding and CNC grinding equipment.
• Read and modify existing CNC programs for production runs.
• Perform basic data entry on internal computer system.
• Use measuring equipment to inspect product diameter tolerances.
• Monitor part conformance and adjust machinery according to blueprints or work orders.
• Maintain production levels and quality standards.
• Remake or rework products that do not meet specifications.
• Follow company policies, ergonomic standards, and safety procedures.
• Perform other related duties as required.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math (fractions, decimals, metrics, conversions).
• Mechanical aptitude preferred.
• Basic computer skills, including Windows and other operating systems.
• Professional and effective communication with co‑workers at all levels.
• Regular, on‑time attendance and reliability.

2nd Shift (10% shift differential) Monday–Friday 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm. Overtime may be required.

$18.00 to $32.05 per hour. Starting wage negotiable based on experience.
