As a machine operator in the Medical Value Stream, you will be trained to set up, operate, and troubleshoot manual grinding and/or CNC grinding equipment to produce high quality precision ground medical burr blanks for the medical device industry.

Job functions include:

• Understanding basic CNC programming to utilize and modify existing programs for production runs and perform basic data entry
• Operating manual tool grinders, disk grinders, and centerless grinders
• Using measuring equipment to inspect produced parts and ensure accurate diameter tolerances
• Performing plate and final straightening processes
• Monitoring part conformance and adjusting manufacturing equipment according to blueprint specifications or work order instructions
• Maintaining established production levels for all operations performed
• Maintaining quality production in accordance with company standards
• Remaking and/or reworking product that does not meet required specifications
• Inputting basic data entries using internal computer programs on a daily basis

Shift schedule: 2nd Monday through Friday, 3:00 pm–11:30 pm (10 % shift differential). Training scheduled on 1st Monday through Friday, 6:45 AM–3:15 PM.
