As a Machine Operator, you will be trained and responsible for the setup, operation, and troubleshooting of equipment used to produce products according to customer specifications and blueprints.
Your job functions include:
- Operating manual tool grinders, centerless thru-feed grinders and Cut off Saws.
- Responsible for plate and final straightening processes.
- Meet established production levels while maintaining quality for all operations performed.
- Monitor part conformance and adjust manufacturing equipment accordingly.
- Responsible for remaking and reworking products that do not meet required specifications.
- Responsible for in-process and final inspection by utilizing measuring equipment.
- Responsible for inventory transactions, entering job tracking information and accessing files to retrieve required certifications that must accompany shipments.
- Perform buffing/deburring operations to attain product conformance.
- As a Machine Operator, you will be trained and responsible for the setup, operation, and troubleshooting of equipment used to produce products according to customer specifications and blueprints.
- Perform bench grinding to configure radii & chamfers to attain product conformance to print.
- Laser marking and hand etching.
- Package, label and place product in correct inventory locations.
