Ready Mix Concrete Driver CDL

SD Ireland Companies is a well-established, respected construction company serving Vermont and the surrounding region. We are currently seeking a dependable Ready-Mix Concrete Driver to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a safety-focused driver who takes pride in their equipment and work.

Position Overview

The Ready-Mix Concrete Driver is responsible for safely operating a concrete mixer truck, delivering concrete to job sites, and working closely with dispatch and job site personnel to ensure quality pours and timely deliveries.

Responsibilities

* Operate ready-mix concrete trucks safely and efficiently

* Deliver concrete to residential, commercial, and construction job sites

* Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections

* Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned truck

* Accurately complete delivery tickets and logs

* Communicate effectively with dispatch and jobsite crews

* Follow all DOT, company, and safety regulations

Qualifications

* Valid CDL Class B required (Class A a plus)

* Clean driving record

* Previous ready-mix or heavy truck experience preferred but not required

* Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions

* Strong work ethic and reliability

* Ability to work early mornings and some weekends with ample overtime available
