Position Summary

Rural Carrier Associate (RCA) – Delivery and Collection of Mail.

• Valid state driver’s license and safe driving record.
• At least two years of unsupervised driving experience in passenger cars or larger vehicles.
• Residency within easy commuting distance of the facility.
• Availability to work on an as‑needed basis, typically on Saturdays.
• Physical ability to load and unload trays and containers weighing up to 70 pounds.
• Willingness and ability to obtain medical suitability, general eligibility, and background check clearance.

USD 20.38 per hour, paid bi‑weekly.

• Sort and load mail in delivery sequence.
• Deliver mail to customers, collect payments and receipts, and pick up mail from roadside boxes.
• Provide stamp, mail, and money order services; accept C.O.D., registered, certified, and insured mail.
• Return undeliverable mail and submit monies and receipts to the post office.
• Prepare daily trip reports and maintain customer lists.
• Conduct special surveys when required.
• Maintain inventory of stamps and other supplies.
• Ensure mail security at all times.

Typically Saturdays with as‑needed coverage for carrier absences.
