PCT - Pacific Cast Technologies, a leader in high integrity aluminum investment castings for aerospace and industrial markets, is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Manager in Salem, OR. This role oversees daily foundry and machining operations, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets are met. You will lead production teams, optimize workflows, drive lean and continuous improvement initiatives, and coordinate maintenance, scheduling, and staffing.
The manager partners closely with engineering and quality to meet OEM requirements and supports training, development, and performance for a precision driven, safety focused workforce.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily foundry and machining operations to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets
- Lead and develop production supervisors and frontline teams
- Implement and sustain lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage production scheduling, capacity planning, and resource allocation
- Collaborate with engineering and quality to meet OEM and aerospace standards
- Monitor KPIs and drive corrective actions for performance gaps
- Coordinate preventive maintenance with maintenance teams to minimize downtime
- Ensure strict adherence to EHS policies and regulatory requirements
- Support hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management of operations staff
- Champion a culture of accountability, craftsmanship, and customer focus
