Position Overview
We are seeking a highly qualified and passionate Secondary Reading Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate inspires students, uses data-driven instruction, and fosters a positive learning environment.
Minimum Qualifications
Valid Texas Teaching Certification in Secondary Reading
Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred)
Strong classroom management and instructional skills
Commitment to student achievement and instructional excellence
Collaborative and team-oriented
Preferred Qualifications
Experience teaching secondary Reading
Knowledge of curriculum development and high-quality instructional materials
Experience using assessment data to inform instruction
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality, standards-aligned Reading instruction
Differentiate instruction based on student data
Participate in professional development opportunities
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff
Maintain accurate records and communicate progress to parents/guardians
