Construction Supervisor - Mechanical you will oversee the installation of some of the most advanced mechanical and liquid cooling systems used in next-generation data centers. You’ll guide field teams, partner with engineers and electricians, and ensure every system performs flawlessly in high-demand compute environments. Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required;
    Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in mechanical construction or supervision on industrial or large commercial projects; minimum 3 years of experience working with liquid cooling systems in data centers or similar high-tech facilities.
  • Journeyman or Master Mechanical License, AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI), or equivalent preferred.
  • OSHA 30 certification required;
    First Aid/CPR certification preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and project specifications.
  • Strong understanding of liquid cooling technologies, heat transfer principles, and data center mechanical infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with mechanical testing tools such as pressure gauges, flow meters, and thermal imaging equipment.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and maintain professionalism in fast-paced environments.
  • High attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Other important requirements
  • Pre-employment screening, including background check and substance testing may be required according to company policies.
  • Must provide own steel-toed work boots; other PPE will be supplied.
  • Must be able to reliably commute to the work site daily or have plans to relocate before starting work.
  • Must be comfortable working arotational schedule, which includes day and night shifts as well as weekend work, based on project needs.
  • Employees working night shifts will receive a 15% premium added to their hourly rate only for hours worked during night shifts.
  • Lead, mentor, and supervise mechanical technicians, fitters, and subcontractors working on liquid cooling systems (e.g., direct-to-chip cooling, rear-door heat exchangers), piping, pumps, valves, and HVAC systems.
  • Monitor team performance and ensure workforce compliance with project goals, quality requirements, and safety standards.
  • Oversee the installation of mechanical systems and ensure all work aligns with project drawings, specifications, and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Coordinate mechanical activities with other trades—including electrical, plumbing, and structural to support seamless integration of systems.
  • Collaborate with engineers, vendors, and QA/QC teams to resolve technical issues and maintain project progress.
  • Ensure all mechanical installations meet data center standards, industry codes, and client requirements.
