As the Construction Supervisor - Mechanical , you will oversee the installation of some of the most advanced mechanical and liquid cooling systems used in next-generation data centers. You’ll guide field teams, partner with engineers and electricians, and ensure every system performs flawlessly in high-demand compute environments. Job requirements- High school diploma or equivalent required;
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred. - Minimum 7 years of experience in mechanical construction or supervision on industrial or large commercial projects; minimum 3 years of experience working with liquid cooling systems in data centers or similar high-tech facilities.
- Journeyman or Master Mechanical License, AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI), or equivalent preferred.
- OSHA 30 certification required;
First Aid/CPR certification preferred. - Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and project specifications.
- Strong understanding of liquid cooling technologies, heat transfer principles, and data center mechanical infrastructure.
- Familiarity with mechanical testing tools such as pressure gauges, flow meters, and thermal imaging equipment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure and maintain professionalism in fast-paced environments.
- High attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Pre-employment screening, including background check and substance testing may be required according to company policies.
- Must provide own steel-toed work boots; other PPE will be supplied.
- Must be able to reliably commute to the work site daily or have plans to relocate before starting work.
- Must be comfortable working arotational schedule, which includes day and night shifts as well as weekend work, based on project needs.
- Employees working night shifts will receive a 15% premium added to their hourly rate only for hours worked during night shifts.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise mechanical technicians, fitters, and subcontractors working on liquid cooling systems (e.g., direct-to-chip cooling, rear-door heat exchangers), piping, pumps, valves, and HVAC systems.
Monitor team performance and ensure workforce compliance with project goals, quality requirements, and safety standards.
Oversee the installation of mechanical systems and ensure all work aligns with project drawings, specifications, and manufacturer guidelines.
Coordinate mechanical activities with other trades—including electrical, plumbing, and structural—to support seamless integration of systems.
Collaborate with engineers, vendors, and QA/QC teams to resolve technical issues and maintain project progress.
Ensure all mechanical installations meet data center standards, industry codes, and client requirements.
Verify compliance of materials and equipment with approved submittals and project specifications.
