Accounts Specialist

Who we are seeking:

We are seeking a New Accounts Specialist to join our team! You’ll be on the front end of an innovative community bank with commercial and mortgage lending capabilities, as well as digital deposits across 40 states. Success in this role relies on strong time‑management, organization, and a positive attitude.

• Provide retail banking services to clients both in person and over the phone.
• Use your financial acumen to provide suggestions and solutions to clients, including account openings, consumer lending and money market products, while focusing on their financial goals.
• Demonstrate strong customer service through attentiveness, listening and connecting with customers, and process transactions quickly and accurately while maintaining a positive banking environment.
• Assist customers with debit card maintenance, creation, and printing of debit cards.
• Assist with digital banking needs, answer phones, and provide general financial services information.
• Act in accordance with all required banking and regulatory requirements.
• Perform work under direct supervision, handling basic issues and referring more complex issues to higher‑level staff; possess beginning to working knowledge of the subject matter.

You may also be needed as a backup teller at times and would need to be able to:

• Process all necessary banking transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, GL tickets, originate wires, cashier’s checks, savings bonds, etc.
• Successfully balance teller drawer daily and maintain and balance ATM as necessary.
• Compile information and documentation for stop pays, account closings, and input information to the system.

• Strong attention to detail
• 0–2 years of direct experience as a Personal Banker or similar financial services position
• Self‑starter with problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills
• Quick learner and adaptable
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship‑building skills
• Effective oral and written communication skills
