Georgia Pacific is seeking a Production Supervisor for our Sweetwater, TX facility. Production Supervisors lead a team to ensure a safe, injury‑/incident‑free environment in our fast‑paced plant. They motivate, coach, and inspire by demonstrating, promoting, and applying Georgia‑Pacific's Principle‑Based Management (PBM®).

- Collaborate with Safety, Environmental, Maintenance, Operations, Controller, and Quality leaders to elevate your team to its full potential.

- Take accountability for safety, quality, and efficiency through leadership, ownership, teamwork, and delegation.
- Coach, motivate, and mentor the team to drive safe and efficient behaviors leading to positive outcomes.
- Take ownership of training, and document training trackers and check‑lists.
- Implement corrective actions as needed, using critical and economic thinking and collaboration to resolve issues and drive innovation, efficiency, and safety excellence.
- Complete paperwork and reports with accuracy to meet deadlines.
- Use oral and written communication skills to interact with facility team, leadership, and corporate associates.
- Plan and organize tasks in a timely, purposeful, and orderly fashion.
- Use critical thinking to troubleshoot equipment and machinery.
- A minimum of four (4) years of supervisory experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or military environment, or four (4) years of experience in the Gypsum industry, or an associate degree or higher with two (2) years of experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
- Able to work a shift schedule subject to change during employment based on business needs.
- A minimum of four (4) years of experience coaching, counseling, and developing employees.
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience using a computer for record‑keeping, documentation, and reporting, including experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in a technical or business discipline.
