Responsible for the repair and maintenance of dies for a safe, clean, productive and economical operation that fully supports press production.
Duties- Repair and maintain production and stamping dies
- Experience working with large progressive, transfer and deep draw dies
- Ability to Tig weld
- Rework of damaged components in a timely manner
- Maintain a clean and safe workplace
- Coordinate with manufacturing the dies to be repaired
- Troubleshoot problems to determine solutions
- Follow standard work and training for all work activities
- Adhere to all Safety and Quality policies and procedures
- Ability to lift/push/pull/ up to 50lbs occasionally
- Ability to walk/stand/crouch/bend constantly throughout assigned shift
- Must have the ability to communicate effectively with all levels and departments in the Production floor
- High School diploma or GED, required
- Completion of a four-year Tool and Die Apprenticeship Program, required
- Knowledge and ability to work with high strength steel
- Automotive Stamping experience a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $20.00 - $33.00 per hour
Schedule:
8 hour shift
Evening shift Monday to Friday Night shift
