The Pocono Mountain School District wishes to inform you of the following posted vacancy for the  school year.

Job Summary: To help reduce or eliminate speech and language disabilities that interfere with the individual student’s ability to derive full benefit from the district’s educational program.

• Baccalaureate Degree
• Valid Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate in Speech
• Master’s Degree (preferred)
• Two years experience in an educational setting (preferred)

Candidate requirements:

Candidates must hold or be eligible for a Pennsylvania Instructional Certificate in the appropriate area. The selected candidate will provide evidence of a strong academic record, excellent educational references and related experience, be able to demonstrate knowledge of current educational research, and successfully complete a series of interviews along with meeting all local requirements.
