Operations Manager
About the Job
Manager Filling & Pkg Staff US (2nd Shift) located in Swiftwater, PA. 2nd shift: 2:00pm–10:00pm. Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed.
Responsibilities- Manages people and processes within a process/product team to meet goals and priorities.
- Ensures operations comply with regulatory authorities and cGMPs, CBER, WHO, EP and other bodies.
- Responsible for packaging operations of syringes and vial vaccines to meet established requirements.
- Plans and initiates overall production schedules, coordinating personnel activities with other manufacturing staff.
- Reviews batch records for correctness and completeness.
- Handles employee selection, training, development, counseling, cost‑reduction recommendations, profit improvement opportunities, cost control, quality improvement and incident investigations.
- Manages departmental capital and operational budgets.
- Provides managerial coverage for employees during third‑shift working hours as needed.
- Determines and presents technical process improvements and communicates issues to appropriate groups (e.g., IOC, PCUs, staff meetings).
- Coordinates Maintenance, Metrology and Validation activities as applicable.
- Assists in implementing new equipment and procedures.
- Performs other duties as required by department management.
- Minimum:
High School Diploma or GED with at least 5years of experience in a cGMP or similar regulated environment. - Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree with at least 3years of experience in a cGMP or similar regulated environment. - Previous experience working in a production department of a pharmaceutical company.

Competitive salary range: $90,000–$130,000, commensurate with experience. Participates in company employee benefit programs, including high‑quality health and wellness benefits, prevention and wellness programs, and at least 14weeks of gender‑neutral parental leave.
