** Security Experience** : A minimum of 1 year in a security-related role (C115).

** Access Control/Badge Experience** :
Familiarity with access control systems and badge management (B201).

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a healthcare and life sciences location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.

+ Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility interior spaces, exterior areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy concerns.

+ Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.

+ Support a professional environment by communicating observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership and assisting with security-related requests in accordance with site procedures.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.

+ Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.

+ Have access control and badge experience, preferred.

+ Have CPR and First Aid training, preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
