As a Security Officer Patrol Access Control in Swiftwater, PA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a healthcare location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, assist with access control, and provide outstanding customer service and communication.   A minimum of 1 year in a security-related role (C115).
• Access Control/Badge
  
  Experience:
  
  Familiarity with access control systems and badge management (B201).
• Technical Proficiency:
  Comfort and proficiency in using computers or tablets for daily tasks (B204).

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a healthcare and life sciences location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility interior spaces, exterior areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Support a professional environment by communicating observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership and assisting with security-related requests in accordance with site procedures.

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have access control and badge experience, preferred.
• Have CPR and First Aid training, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
