Role Overview

We are recruiting an experienced Multi-Skilled Tradesperson to carry out day-to-day maintenance and reactive repairs across social housing properties in Swindon. This is a hands-on role suited to a reliable, well-rounded multi-trader who can turn their hand to a variety of trades while working in occupied homes.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out a wide range of responsive and planned maintenance works within social housing properties

Undertake repairs including:

Basic plumbing (leaks, taps, toilets, sinks)

Carpentry (doors, locks, skirting, kitchen units)

Plastering & patch repairs

Painting & decorating

Tiling & minor flooring repairs

Basic electrical work (non-certifiable tasks)

Complete jobs to a high standard, first-time fix where possible

Work professionally in tenants' homes with a strong customer-focused approach

Follow health & safety procedures and company policies at all times

Accurately record works completed and materials used

Essential Experience & Skills

Proven experience as a Multi-Trader / Multi-Skilled Trades person

Previous social housing or domestic maintenance experience is prefeered

Confident working across multiple trades (not just one main skill)

Able to work independently and manage daily workloads

Good communication skills and a respectful approach when dealing with tenants

Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail

Own van and full set of tools required
