Fish Bros SEAT Swindon Service Technician Apprenticeship – Job
Bringing your passion for vehicle service to the front line of the SEAT brand at Fish Bros in Swindon, you’ll build essential skills across traditional, hybrid and electric vehicles while you work in a dynamic, customer‑first environment. The Service department is vital to our success, so every day you’ll deliver first‑time fixes and excellent customer service.
Responsibilities- Use diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle faults.
- Test parts and systems to ensure correct working.
- Follow checklists to ensure all critical parts of vehicles are examined.
- Carry out bumper‑to‑bumper overview, service and inspection.
- Maintain electronic systems including onboard entertainment systems.
- Undertake repair and maintenance of vehicle parts, including clutches, gearboxes, tyres, brakes and suspension.
- Complete legible and accurate paperwork for customers and centre records.
- Maintain a clean and tidy work environment.
Work experience will span traditional, hybrid and modern technical engines, giving you a varied technical training experience for long‑term career progression.
Qualifications Required- GCSE grades 9 – 4 (A –
C) or equivalent in English, Maths and Science. - Scottish National 5 Grades A – C or above in English, Maths and either a Science or Technical subject.
