Position: Vehicle Technician – 33 Days Holiday & Early Friday Finish

The Rewards
  • Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 per year (Depending on experience and skillset).
  • Holiday: Incredible 33 days holiday per year (including bank holidays) – way above industry standard.
  • Mon–Thu

    Hours:

    Monday to Thursday, 08:00 – 17:30 – stable, permanent weekday hours.
  • Friday

    Hours:

    Friday, 08:00 – 16:30 – enjoy an early finish to kickstart your weekend.

Role

As a vital Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic in our busy Swindon workshop, you will:

  • Carry out routine vehicle servicing, safety health checks, logbook stamps, and general mechanical repairs.
  • Use up-to-date diagnostic tools and scanners to efficiently troubleshoot technical, electrical, and mechanical faults.
  • Deliver high-quality "first-time fix" results across a wide variety of vehicle makes and models.
  • Work productively alongside a skilled team of motor mechanics to keep the workshop operating safely and smoothly.
What You Need
  • Qualifications: Minimum Level 2 or Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (NVQ/City & Guilds or equivalent).
  • Experience: Proven track record working as a Vehicle Technician
    , Car Mechanic
    , or Service Technician
    .
  • Key Strengths: A reliable, self-motivated professional with good attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
  • Licensing: A full UK driving licence is essential (having an active MOT Tester licence is a great bonus!).
