Mobile Plant Fitter​/Engineer

Position: Mobile Plant Fitter / Engineer
* Job Overview
* The Mobile Plant Fitter/Engineer will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, and repair of a range of plant machinery. You will be expected to work independently on-site, ensuring that all equipment is in good working order, meeting the required safety standards and operating efficiently.

This is a full-time role, with the possibility of overtime and weekend work as required.

* Key Responsibilities
* * Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a variety of plant machinery.

* Diagnose and repair faults, ensuring all machinery is compliant with relevant safety standards.

* Conduct inspections and keep accurate records of work carried out.

* Maintain a high level of customer service when liaising with clients.

* Work independently or as part of a team to complete projects in a timely manner.

* Adhere to all Health & Safety regulations, ensuring safe working practices at all times.

* Travel to various sites as required, using company-provided transportation.

* Essential Qualifications & Requirements

* * NVQ Level 3 in Plant Maintenance* (or equivalent qualification).

* * NVQ Level 2 in Plant Maintenance
* will also be considered, but please note the salary will reflect this qualification level.

* Proven experience in plant machinery maintenance and repairs.

* Full, valid UK driving licence.

* * CSCS Card* (Construction Skills Certification Scheme).

* Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

* Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage time effectively.

* Desirable Skills & Experience
* * Previous experience in a mobile fitter role is highly advantageous.

* Familiarity with a broad range of plant equipment, including excavators, loaders, and access equipment.

* Working Hours & Benefits

* * Hours*: 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

* Overtime and occasional Saturday work will be required based on operational needs.
