Ideally, you will be in proximity to our Switzerland (Rolle) Corporate offices on a hybrid work‑schedule to partner closely with key stakeholders locally, and this role will also involve international travel aorund 25%.

Through a decentralized global network and patented algorithms, we give the Bio Pharma community access to high quality NGS solutions, Biomarker Discovery, Clinical Trial Assays and CDx leveraging the SOPHiA DDM™ platform, including the ctDNA‑based LBx solution MSK ACCESS® powered with SOPHiA DDM™.

Your missionReporting to the Director, Head of CDx Bio Pharma Programmes, you will play a pivotal role in enabling growth for our business development teams within the biotech and pharmaceutical sectors. You will be responsible for managing and expanding relationships with key partners, identifying new opportunities, and collaborating closely with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and commercial acumen to support innovative product development and strategic initiatives.

- Act as a technical and commercial liaison, translating complex scientific concepts into actionable business strategies
- Support the biotech business development team by managing requests for proposals, pricing strategies, and project costing
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to design and propose innovative, customized solutions that meet client needs
- Lead business development efforts within the biotech and pharma sectors, identifying and pursuing new CDx partnership opportunities
- Provide market insights and feedback to influence product development and strategic direction
We know that every background is different, but to be best set for success we see you bringing:
- Either a scientific background with a PhD and direct experience in Genomic R&D, or at least 5 years of industry experience in R&D, preferably with hands‑on expertise in NGS workflows, including wet lab experience such as capture or bioinformatics pipeline analysis
- Previous exposure to commercial conversations for an NGS Dx or CDx product highly valuable
- Strong technical knowledge combined with creativity and problem‑solving skills to design and propose custom solutions tailored to client needs
- Commercial acumen with a drive to contribute to business development and revenue growth through a commission‑based incentive structure
