Role DescriptionThis is a full time, on‑site role located in Lugano for a H&S Compliance and ESG Junior Associate. This role supports the Globus family of brands in delivering safe, compliant, resilient, and sustainable travel experiences. The role combines Health & Safety compliance, risk management, and supplier oversight with ESG data management and sustainability performance analysis. By ensuring robust safety standards, high‑quality ESG data, and compliance with internal and external requirements, the position contributes to protecting clients, employees, suppliers, and brand reputation, while enabling informed sustainability governance and continuous improvement.
ResponsibilitiesHealth, Safety & Compliance
- Support the coordination and monitoring of Health & Safety audits and compliance activities through internal systems and processes.
- Assist in incident follow‑up activities involving internal stakeholders, consultants, and suppliers.
- Coordinate staff Health & Safety training and support emergency procedures and response activities.
- Manage compliance‑related documentation, records, communications, and follow‑up actions.
- Collect, validate, and maintain ESG and sustainability‑related data across GFOB offices and suppliers.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and traceability within reporting tools and systems.
- Support ESG reporting activities, KPI monitoring, dashboards, audits, and data validation processes.
- Assist in identifying trends, risks, and improvement opportunities related to ESG performance.
- Work closely with internal departments and external suppliers to ensure timely and reliable data submission.
- Act as a reference point for Health & Safety compliance and ESG data‑related queries.
- Proficient written and spoken English. Additional languages (IT, FR, DE, ES) are considered and asset.
- Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, charts, basic formulas).
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools.
- Comfortable working with structured data and digital platforms.
- Willingness to learn Audit Kind and GFOB ESG software platforms.
- Interest in Health & Safety, ESG, and sustainability topics within the tourism sector.
- Analytical and detail‑oriented, with a focus on data quality.
- Proactive, accountable, and solution‑oriented.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage sensitive information with accuracy and discretion.
