B&A Commercial manages the global portfolio of alumina, hydrate and bauxite with teams in Switzerland, Singapore, Brazil and China. The Trading Finance and Product Risk Controller oversees the finance function within Commercial B&A for Swiss, Norwegian and Chinese entities focusing on trading positions, price exposure, and mark‑to‑market analysis and reporting.

• Prepare regular trading position reports including price exposure and mark‑to‑market reporting.
• Perform and oversee IFRS9 derivative accounting entries for B&A Commercial entities, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
• Analyse the need for fair value accounting in specific trades.
• Prepare deviation analysis and explanations week‑on‑week.
• Support the Finance Manager in financial valuation analysis of investment and commercial proposals.
• Assist in the establishment of statutory accounts of the HAISA legal entity and in the preparation of HAISA's quarterly Board of Directors meetings.
• Assist the Commercial Finance team in the monthly and quarterly closing process with tasks according to the checklist.
• Assist the Finance Manager and Financial Controller with specific tasks such as balance‑sheet reconciliation, ICFR controls and overall HFM and SAP data quality.
• Perform standard and ad‑hoc financial analysis with focus on realized prices and margins, exposures and deviation analysis.
• Monitor working capital by analysing variations.
• Collaborate closely with Alumina and Bauxite Marketing (commercial and supply‑chain analysts) to improve the flow and ensure transactions/contracts are appropriately reflected in CTS (Commodity Trading System).

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
• Finance background in commodity trading and derivative tools.
• Significant experience in accounting and financial analysis.
• Solid accounting and finance knowledge, and experience in derivative financial products and accounting treatment.
• Competence with digital applications and solutions (ERP, data analytics & Microsoft Office tools including Power BI).
• Fluent in English;
  French is a plus.
