Corporate FP&A & Investment Analyst

We are looking for a Corporate FP&A & Investment Analyst to join Sunstar's Global FP&A team in Etoy, Switzerland. In this role, you'll support financial planning, investment governance, R&D portfolio control, and manufacturing asset management across Sunstar's global operations.

Working closely with finance, R&D, manufacturing, and corporate stakeholders, you'll deliver analysis, reporting, and data validation that strengthen financial transparency and investment discipline — evaluating investments, monitoring project performance, and enhancing reporting processes that support Sunstar's long-term growth.

Support effective financial and investment control across Corporate Functions, Global Consumer R&D, capital investment projects and the global manufacturing asset base.

Provide reliable analysis, reporting, data validation and process coordination to strengthen financial transparency, investment discipline, project accountability and management decision-making across the Group.

• Support financial control and tracking of R&D projects and investments.
• Maintain R&D project budgets, forecasts, actuals, timelines and status information.
• Prepare R&D portfolio reporting and identify delays, cost overruns and data gaps.
• Support project reviews and Stage-Gate follow-up.
• Support implementation and tracking of R&D KPIs.

• Support financial analysis and validation of investment proposals.
• Maintain investment project and portfolio trackers.
• Operate the Investment Committee Secretariat.
• Coordinate submissions, agendas, meeting materials, decisions and follow-up actions.
• Support post-investment reviews and lessons-learned reporting.

• Support global management and control of manufacturing assets.
• Consolidate and validate manufacturing asset data across production sites.
• Prepare reporting on asset age, utilisation, idle assets and replacement requirements.
• Reconcile Cap Ex projects with capitalisation and asset registration.
• Support standardisation of global manufacturing asset reporting and controls.

• Prepare global cross-functional financial reporting.
• Support Actual, Forecast, Budget and MTP processes for Corporate Functions and BHQ.
• Perform fixed-cost and Corporate Cost analysis.
• Validate and reconcile financial data and submissions.
• Improve reporting tools, templates and control processes.

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related discipline (essential)
• Sound knowledge of financial accounting, management accounting and corporate finance (essential)
• Strong Excel and financial analysis capabilities (essential)
• Fluent English, both written and spoken (essential)
• Master’s degree or professional qualification such as CFA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent (desirable)
• Knowledge of investment appraisal, project controlling, fixed asset accounting or R&D finance (desirable)
• Experience with Power BI, SAP, EPM or workflow systems (desirable)
• Additional languages such as Japanese, French or German (desirable)

• Approximately 3–5 years of experience in FP&A, controlling, accounting, audit, corporate finance or project finance
• Practical experience in Actual, Forecast, Budget and management-reporting processes
• Experience in financial data collection, consolidation, validation and variance analysis
• Experience developing or reviewing financial models and management-control tools
• Exposure to Cap Ex control, investment governance, project controlling, R&D finance or fixed asset management is desirable
