Overview
Position Summary The purpose of this job is to generate procurement synergies within the region for Castings & Forgings generating savings, reducing complexity, improving deliveries and quality of goods purchased.

Your Responsibilities- Build relationship with procurement teams in divisions developing and executing procurement strategies
- Lead sourcing projects, engaging stakeholders and the required cross-functional resources
- Develop division team members’ skills in strategic procurement, mentoring and supporting them in creating category sourcing strategies
- Drive spend transparency, aggregation, vendor consolidation, and leveraging regional volume to maximize cost savings and value-add for Parker
- Lead negotiations and contract discussions with suppliers (including claim management)
- Maintain supplier relationships to ensure we obtain best quality, OTD and flexibility
- Partner with Functional Leaders to ensure business reviews are conducted as needed at a regular cadence.
- Establish, monitor, and exceeds results against KPI’s
- Supplier evaluation & risk management to ensure appropriate and effective sources of supply
- 10 years procurement experience with at least 2 years in Castings & Forgings
- Bachelor’s degree in the field of Engineering, Supply Chain or business administration, master’s degree is a plus.
- Ability to develop procurement strategy from scratch
- Expertise in Castings & Forgings sourcing
- Strong analytical and project management skills
- Fluent in English, other European is of advantage
