Merchandising Procurement ManagerJob Responsibilities
- Process Management

- Implementation of new merchandising articles - Ensure purchasing process optimization and efficiency for merchandisingcomplementary products
- Define requirement criteria and process from idea to implementation and life cyclesupport including packaging development, sampling, product testing, quality, master data, warranty/care
- Process description

- Ensure the purchasing of a highly diverse portfolio of merchandising products
- Select 3rd party providers
- Ensure complex negotiations with providers and establish contracts with newproviders
- Install and maintain a good balance between the quality and performance ofpurchased goods and services and the cost optimization in line with the purchasingbudget
- Anticipate the future possible evolutions of demands of the organization
- Ensure the follow-up and the renewal of the providers contracts
- Identify Opportunities for Growth
- Collaborate with Key Stakeholders
- Partner with influential internal stakeholders to accurately assess company needs
- University level education with +8 years of experience
- Strong record of working knowledge in international procurement and/or product development preferably from consumer product industries (FMCG) with excellentnegation skills
- Excellent communications and stakeholder management skills ranging from technicalto business communities and teams
- Monetization, revenue management and pricing competencies with experience increating additional revenue driven by new categories and services to existing productlines
- Self-motivated, opportunistic and scrappy and can capture and execute opportunities as they arise, even under very tight deadlines
- Creative approach to problem-solving with the ability to focus on details while maintaining the "big picture" view
- Excellent communications and stakeholder management skills ranging from technicalto business communities and teams
- A strong team player with an ability to build relationships quickly
- Results orientated - proven ability to deliver results to deadlines
- Highly quality orientated and inquisitive, problem solving mind-set
