Are you a strategic pricing leader ready to make a tangible business impact across a dynamic, international environment? Join Waters Biosciences as a Senior Manager – Pricing & Value Optimization, where you will shape and lead the EMEA pricing strategy, influence executive decisions, and drive value creation across the region.
Your Main Responsibilities- Shape the EMEA pricing strategy across instruments and consumables, supporting both direct and indirect channels
- Lead price transformation initiatives, from planning to execution (list price changes, regional adjustments, promotions)
- Define and govern pricing frameworks, including discount policies, deal approvals, and escalation processes
- Drive value optimization, identifying opportunities to improve price realization and reduce margin leakage
- Deliver actionable insights, providing leadership with clear analytics on pricing trends and commercial performance
- Influence strategic decisions, acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders across EMEA
- Develop and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, growth, and excellence
- Ensure global alignment, partnering with the Global Pricing Director to maintain consistency and best practices
- Champion pricing discipline, engaging country leaders to embed governance and best practices across markets
- Support innovation, contributing to value-based pricing strategies for new product launches and commercial programs
- Degree in Business/Finance/Economics; 5+ years pricing experience (Med Tech mandatory); fluent English, other EU languages a plus
- Strong leader with experience managing high-performing teams in matrix/international settings
- Pricing expert in Med Tech/healthcare, including value-based pricing & discount governance (ideally in capital equipment, and consumables)
- Strategic mindset; able to turn complex data into clear business actions
- Strong analytical and financial skills (deal modeling, margins, business cases)
- Track record of driving pricing initiatives with measurable EMEA/regional impact
- Influential stakeholder manager with credibility at senior/executive level
- Clear communicator with strong presentation skills
- Compensation range for the role: 150-170k CHF fixed base
