At Geistlich, we are pioneers in regenerative biomaterials, improving patients' quality of life through scientific innovation. To strengthen our global commercial organization, we are looking for a strategic and commercially driven Global Head of Distribution to lead our international distribution business and accelerate sustainable growth worldwide.
Your Responsibilities- Define and execute Geistlich's global distribution strategy across direct and indirect sales channels.
- Develop commercial frameworks, identify new business opportunities and strengthen our international distribution network.
- Partner with Global Marketing and Sales Operations to continuously optimize our distribution model.
- Lead strategic negotiations with international distributors and DSO partners.
- Build long-term relationships with C-level stakeholders and drive sustainable sales growth across global markets.
- Support affiliates in expanding and developing their national distribution business.
- Ensure alignment of pricing, commercial policies and contractual frameworks across markets.
- Lead the Global Distribution community and foster collaboration and best-practice sharing across regions.
- Monitor business performance, provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership and represent Distribution at international meetings and company events.
- Minimum 5 years of international leadership experience in distribution, sales or business development.
- Degree in Business, Economics or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Proven success in driving commercial growth within a global matrix organization.
- Strong negotiation, communication and relationship-building skills.
- Experience with commercial contracts, tenders and pricing strategies.
- Strategic mindset combined with analytical and data-driven decision-making.
- Established network with senior decision-makers in the healthcare or medical device industry.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 50%).
- Experience in dentistry, biomaterials or medical devices is a plus.
