Fitter – Welder - Pipefitter (F – M) Experienced
Present in water treatment activities for over 60 years, Alpha Wasser Technik AG is a company based in Nidau, a truly bilingual region, and offers innovative solutions in Switzerland for the treatment of municipal and industrial wastewater, along with related services. Alpha Wasser Technik AG is a subsidiary of the holding company Membratec Groupe SA, a leader in the water treatment sector, providing innovative solutions to societal challenges.
Your tasks
- Assembly of machines and stainless steel piping and commissioning of machines and components for wastewater treatment
- Conversion and extension work on existing installations
- Taking measurements and manufacturing stainless steel piping
- Execution of service contracts with our clients
- Repair and maintenance of machines and components supplied by us
- Welding in the Nidau workshop or on site and installation of V2A and V4A stainless steel pipes
- Compliance with safety rules and the company’s technical standards.
Required skills
- Professional training as a fitter, installer (specialising in piping, welding, sanitary, heating), locksmith, mechanic or equivalent qualification
- At least 10 years’ experience in one of these fields
- TIG welder experience (ISO 9606-1 stainless steel BW certification) would be an advantage
- Ability to maintain an overview even in disturbed situations and to set priorities in the client’s interest
- Ability to communicate in French
- Holder of a driving licence
- You have a dynamic, autonomous personality and a team spirit
