Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity for the upcoming  academic year, supporting K-12 students as a valued school psychologist in the dynamic and diverse communities of Northwestern Illinois. Your expertise will help shape positive outcomes for students across a variety of educational settings, with full-time hours dedicated to enhancing student well-being and supporting school teams.

This position involves working 37.5 hours per week, with placements in East Aurora (District 131) and itinerary support across multiple sites in Algonquin, Carpentersville, and Hampshire (District 300). Bilingual skills in Spanish/English are highly valued to foster greater communication and service, though not required.

Qualifications:
  • Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychology endorsement for K-12
  • Master's degree (or higher) in School Psychology
  • Experience supporting K-12 students in educational settings
  • Ability to collaborate with staff, administration, and families
  • Preferred:
    Bilingual proficiency in Spanish/English
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct psycho educational assessments, individual and group counseling, and behavioral interventions
  • Assist with the development and implementation of IEPs and 504 plans
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support academic and social-emotional growth
  • Provide consultation and resources to teachers and parents
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations
