SYCAMORE ANIMAL HOSPITAL is a full service AAHA-accredited small animal hospital serving the Sycamore-DeKalb, Illinois community and surrounding areas. We have a skilled and dedicated support staff and provide advanced diagnostics including ultrasound and orthopedic surgery. Our clients have access to CT-scans and rehabilitation services at our AHHA-accredited location at The Animal Doctor in Cary, Illinois.

We offer a competitive salary that commensurates with experience and a yearly production bonus. Pro-sal pay options are also available for more experienced veterinarians. • Perform routine and complex physical examinations on companion animal
• Diagnose and treat illnesses, injuries, and medical conditions across a variety of species
• Develop and implement individualized patient treatment plans
• Administer vaccines, medications, and perform surgical procedures as needed
• Maintain accurate and thorough medical records using practice management software and AI assisting software
• Educate and communicate with pet owners regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive care
• Collaborate with our DVM team members, veterinary technicians, assistants, and support staff to ensure high-quality patient care
• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) degree from an accredited institution
• Active or eligible Illinois veterinary license in good standing
• DEA registration or ability to obtain one
• USDA accreditation or ability to obtain one
• Experience in a clinical veterinary setting preferred
• Strong diagnostic, surgical, and clinical skills aimed at reducing client cost of ownership
• Excellent communication and client relations skills
• Compassionate, team-oriented, and committed to animal welfare
