Qualifications andRequired Experience:
- Valid Illinois Social Worker (IL SW) license
- Experience providing social work services in a school or youth-focused setting
- Strong interpersonal and crisis intervention skills
- Comfort working with K-12 students across diverse backgrounds
- Solid organizational and documentation abilities
- Conduct student assessments, develop intervention strategies, and participate in IEP/504 meetings as needed
- Provide individual and group counseling to address social, emotional, or behavioral concerns
- Partner with teachers, administrators, and families to support students success plans
- Maintain thorough case records while ensuring confidentiality and compliance
- Respond to day-to-day needs and provide advocacy for students and their families
