School Social Worker in Carpentersville, IL.Pedia Staff is a trusted leader in pediatric therapy and educational staffing solutions, connecting passionate professionals with rewarding school-based and clinic opportunities since 2004. We're currently seeking a dedicated School Social Worker ($52-$55 hr) to support our elementary school in the Carpentersville, IL area for the  school year.

Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Social WorkPEL or Professional Educator's License with the social work endorsement

Bilingual in Spanish is preferred, but not required

Role Overview :

As a School Social Worker, you'll provide critical support to students. You'll collaborate with another social worker to address students' social-emotional needs, develop intervention strategies, and support their academic success.

This role offers the opportunity to work with young learners in a supportive school environment while making a lasting impact on their development.

Job Details:

Dates:
Start immediately and work through the SY26-27!

Hours:

7:30-3:00 daily...7.5 hours (with a 30 min unpaid lunch)
Setting:
Elementary School (K-5th grade)
Caseload: small and manageable

In-person only

Key Responsibilities:

Provide individual and group social work services to students

Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop intervention plans

Conduct assessments and maintain appropriate documentation

Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
