Operations Administrator
Responsible for performing the clerical and administrative functions for any or all hub and station operational areas, including linehaul, records management, quality assurance and customer service. Tends to damaged and incorrectly addressed packages in a timely manner to optimize delivery time. Serves as a customer’s first line of contact for a variety of issues.
Required Knowledge,Skills and Abilities
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- General business skills such as typing; data entry and review; and use of phone, copier, and fax.
- Software skills, including use of Microsoft Office software and web-based applications.
- Customer service skills necessary to effectively and professionally respond to requests.
- Time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills necessary to work in a fast-paced environment, handling various tasks and changing priorities, while maintaining a high attention to detail and accuracy to achieve daily assignments and goals.
This position is general and does not constitute an exhaustive list of all functions, responsibilities, or qualifications required. The holder will perform any other tasks assigned, meet minimum thresholds for mandatory tests and training, work in a Windows environment, successfully complete periodic training, and maintain annual accreditations if applicable. The holder may be required to work different shifts as needed. Candidates in Quebec must be bilingual (French and English).
In addition to standard selection criteria, candidates for positions requiring driving as a core skill must hold a valid license (e.g., Class 5, G or 1[AZ]) and present a record with no more than two infractions and/or accidents in the 24 months preceding the application. Candidates will be evaluated on:
1) annual driving record;
2) interview performance; and
3) results of administered driving evaluations.
