Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Administrator – Sydney, Nova Scotia
We are looking to add a Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Administrator to our team. This role will be based in our Sydney, Nova Scotia office and will support the QHSE Manager by handling administrative tasks related to the implementation and promotion of our Health, Safety, and Environmental systems.
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have- Diploma in Business Administration (New Grads welcome!)
- Interest in Health & Safety
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong communication skills with a positive, solution‑oriented approach
- The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong organizational and administrative abilities
- Track, separate, file, and log weekly HSE site documents needed for trending.
- Request, track, and follow up on subcontractor documents.
- Prepare HSE site portfolios and binders, project‑specific and personnel‑specific.
- Prepare HSE site Safety Boards and Emergency Response Posters.
- Monitor, track down, and arrange Fall Protection Equipment inspections and update inventory reports.
- Assist with training notifications to keep Lynk personnel current and update training certificates, reports, etc.
- Copy and scan new‑hire certificates.
- Prepare in‑house training take‑away packages.
- Monitor and notify about equipment under the HSE scope for annual inspections and calibrations.
- Check off HSE supply orders and monitor supplies for reorder.
- Complete other related administrative duties as assigned.
