As part of the documents management initiative, you will be responsible for organizing, reviewing, and maintaining client files.
Your role will significantly contribute to improving office efficiency while ensuring compliance with confidentiality standards. This position requires someone who thrives in a detail-oriented setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Retrieve and organize files returned from storage
• Remove unnecessary documents per digitization guidelines
• Prepare confidential documents for secure destruction
• Reorganize records into designated filing cabinets
• Maintain organized systems for record retrieval
Requirements:
• Grade 11 education or equivalent necessary
• 2 years of administrative or clerical experience required
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
Support the transition to digital records while enhancing your clerical skills with the Government of Nova Scotia.
