Facilities Manager at NSCC

Lead facilities management at the Sydney Waterfront Campus with NSCC. This full-time role demands expertise in maintenance, building operations, and ensuring safety standards.

As the Facilities Manager, you'll oversee the upkeep of campus infrastructure and staff management, reporting to key stakeholders. Your extensive experience in facilities management, including supervising teams and managing maintenance, will ensure effective risk management and sustainability practices. You’ll also manage budgets to maintain financial goals while ensuring a safe learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain health, safety, and cleanliness of campus buildings

• Provide timely maintenance services for facility care

• Manage budgets and oversee unionized staff

• Promote sustainability and customer needs in practices

• Ensure excellent standards in support of NSCC programs

Requirements:

• Post-Secondary Degree/Diploma in Facilities Management

• 7-10 years in facilities management

• Experience supervising and managing teams

• Familiarity with project management and safety certification

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
