Reporting to the Assistant Manager, the Carpenter is responsible for completing repairs/alterations to building structures; for example, walls, ceilings, doors, windows, millwork, abatement, flooring, wall cladding/paneling, Gyproc, etc., while adhering to building, fire, and infection prevention control codes and regulations. The incumbent is also responsible for small in‑house renovations and additions, including Infection Prevention and Control hoarding, as required. This work must be done in accordance with all provincial, building, fire, and infection prevention and control codes and regulations;
all pertinent hospital policies and procedures must also be adhered to.
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
- Two years experience with a broad exposure within the construction industry in a similar organization
- Must adhere to Provincial and National Construction Building Codes, Department Of Labour standards.
- Travel between sites may be required
- Valid Driver's License or access to reliable transportation required

HoursPermanent full-time position; 75 hours biweekly
Compensation and Benefits$31.55 - $37.31 Hourly
