YVR is seeking dedicated Electricians to join our Facilities Maintenance team. Contribute to the maintenance of vital airport systems essential for safety and efficiency.

Accept one of two Full-Time Electrician positions at Vancouver Airport Authority, where your skills will directly impact airport operations. Engage in preventative and corrective maintenance on a wide array of electrical systems including generators, switch gear, and automatic controls, while working harmoniously within a cross-functional team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and troubleshoot generator sets and lighting systems

• Repair and optimize HVAC controls and electrical systems

• Conduct preventive checks on alarm and control systems

• Support electrical infrastructure maintenance from 69kv to 120V

• Collaborate with team members to enhance facility operations

Requirements:

• Three years of experience with BC Trade Qualification

• Safety-first mentality with excellent problem-solving skills

• Strong communication and teamwork capabilities

• Adept in both independent and collaborative work environments

• Hold a valid BC driver’s license
