Position: Full-Time Industrial Mechanic Role
Shape the future of healthcare maintenance with Nova Scotia Health as an Industrial Mechanic in Cape Breton. This full-time position focuses on the upkeep of critical mechanical systems in a healthcare environment.

Reporting to the Maintenance & Operations Assistant Manager, you will ensure the reliability of medical air systems, HVAC systems, and more.

Your role includes adhering to safety codes and collaborating with various teams to deliver effective maintenance solutions. Ensure your tools are ready for both repair and installation tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Repair and maintain various mechanical systems

• Ensure safety standards are strictly followed

• Support the installation of new systems as needed

• Coordinate with maintenance teams for effective solutions

• Travel across zones for various assignments

Requirements:

• Certification as a Journeyperson Industrial Mechanic

• Relevant experience with mechanical systems in a facility

• Familiar with maintenance management software

• Strong problem-solving abilities

• Valid Driver’s License or dependable transport
