Position: Maintenance Industrial Mechanic Needed Now
Join the team at Cape Breton Regional Hospital as an Industrial Mechanic focused on maintenance and operations. Ensure critical mechanical systems operate smoothly in a healthcare setting.

In this permanent full-time position, you’ll report to the Maintenance & Operations Assistant Manager. Responsibilities include maintaining critical systems like HVAC ducts, fire suppression systems, and more. You may also assist with the installation of new mechanical systems, contributing to the overall efficiency of the hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

• Repair and maintain various mechanical systems

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

• Assist in installing and upgrading mechanical equipment

• Analyze problems and propose effective solutions

• Maintain adherence to Department of Labour standards

Requirements:

• Journeyperson Industrial Mechanic Certification

• Experience in maintenance or installation in a similar environment

• Knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems

• Valid Driver's License or access to transportation

• Problem-solving skills in technical areas
