Position: Electrician Needed for Health Operations
Location: North Sydney

Elevate your career as an Electrician with Nova Scotia Health. This full-time permanent position focuses on maintaining and enhancing electrical safety and functionality across health facilities.

As an Electrician, you will report directly to the Maintenance & Operations Assistant Manager and play a crucial role in overseeing the electrical systems throughout the facilities. Your contribution will include the installation, maintenance, and urgent repairs, all while following the Canadian Electrical Code. Some travel to various locations may be necessary for comprehensive service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and repair electrical systems within health facilities

• Conduct regular inspections and service audits

• Ensure all tasks meet safety standards and codes

• Maintain effective communication with the Operations team

• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical system issues

Requirements:

• Demonstrated knowledge of electrical codes and safety practices

• Relevant training in Infection Control and Lock & Tag Out is beneficial

• Minimum experience in the electrical field preferred

• Strong adherence to safety protocols

• Willingness to travel to multiple sites
