Position: Full-Time Industrial Mechanic in Nova Scotia
Join Nova Scotia Health as a full-time Industrial Mechanic, responsible for maintaining and repairing complex mechanical systems in a healthcare environment. Ensure compliance with safety codes while delivering essential services.

This role is pivotal as you manage system maintenance across the FMS Plant Maintenance Electrical C  department. You will interact with various systems including HVAC, medical air, and laundry equipment, while also contributing to new mechanical system installations. The position requires commitment to safety, problem-solving skills, and travel within zones as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair mechanical systems per established codes

• Work on HVAC, medical air, and other vital systems

• Assist with installation of new mechanical systems

• Perform duties specific to the Industrial Mechanic role

• Travel within and between zones as required

Requirements:

• Journeyperson Industrial Mechanic Certification

• Experience in mechanical maintenance or installation

• Familiarity with computerized maintenance systems

• Strong problem-solving abilities

• Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation
