Reporting to the Assistant Manager, the Carpenter is responsible for completing repairs/alterations to building structures, including walls, ceilings, doors, windows, millwork, abatement, flooring, wall cladding/paneling, Gyproc, etc., while adhering to building, fire, infection prevention and control codes and regulations. The incumbent is also responsible for small in‑house renovations and additions, including Infection Prevention and Control hoarding, as required. All work must be performed in accordance with provincial, building, fire, and infection prevention and control codes and regulations, and all pertinent hospital policies and procedures.

• Two years’ experience with broad exposure within the construction industry in a similar organization
• Must adhere to provincial and national construction building codes, Department of Labour standards
• Travel between sites may be required
• Valid driver’s license or access to reliable transportation required

Casual relief, no guaranteed hours

$31.55 - $37.31 hourly
