Position: Cape Breton Regional Hospital Industrial Mechanic Role
Enhance healthcare operations as an Industrial Mechanic at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital. Focus on maintaining essential mechanical systems and equipment as part of a dedicated team.

This is a permanent full-time role reporting to the Maintenance & Operations Assistant Manager. You will handle the maintenance and repair of various systems including medical air, HVAC, and fire suppression systems. The position may also require traveling within the region to address mechanical needs across facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair critical plant mechanical systems

• Comply with safety and building regulations

• Contribute to the installation of new systems

• Develop solutions to technical problems

• Follow Department of Labour standards

Requirements:

• Journeyperson Industrial Mechanic Certification

• Relevant experience in maintenance roles

• Familiarity with computerized maintenance management

• Possess a valid Driver's License or transportation

• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems
