Wisr is seeking a creative and proactive Marketing Assistant to join our Marketing team. This is a casual (3-4 days per week) entry-level role, ideal for someone recently graduated or in their final year of university, looking to gain hands-on experience in marketing, content creation, design, and communications. This role is perfect for a motivated individual eager to learn and contribute to a fast-paced, collaborative team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Marketing campaigns: Assist the Marketing team in creating content and assets for campaigns across our website, blog, email, app, and social channels for B2C and B2B audiences.
Design: Help create graphics and layouts for digital campaigns using tools like Canva, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite.
Media and PR: Assist in media monitoring, drafting media releases, writing award entries, and supporting media engagement activities.
Ad-hoc marketing support: Provide general marketing and communications support across teams as needed.
MEASURES OF SUCCESS
Timely delivery of high-quality, on-brand marketing communications and creative assets.
Design and content support contributes to effective campaigns and brand awareness.
Media and PR support enhances brand visibility and reputation.
Positive internal feedback on collaboration, creativity, and communication support.
SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & BEHAVIOURS
Currently completing or recently completed a relevant degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Design, or a related field.
Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
Collaborative, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Interest in marketing, social media, digital content creation, and creative design.
Internship, volunteer, or project experience in marketing, communications, or design is desirable but not required.
Basic familiarity with design tools (e.g. Canva, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite) and social media platforms is a plus.
