Daytime Sat 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM Sun 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a cultural institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout galleries, public areas, administrative spaces, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance and access concerns.
• Monitor entry points, visitor flow, and restricted areas while assisting with access control practices, special events, and after-hours security-related protocols as directed by site procedures.
• Support the protection of exhibits, historic spaces, and property by observing surroundings, communicating clearly with staff and visitors, and following post orders for incidents, disturbances, and/or emergencies.

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
